The parties discussed current issues of further developing relations between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic and deepening practical cooperation in priority areas.

The Czech Republic has traditionally been an important European partner of Uzbekistan. In recent years, the volume of mutual trade has increased by twofold, and the number of joint ventures and projects has increased by threefold.

The need to intensify the Intergovernmental Commission’s activities, develop a roadmap for increasing trade turnover, and establish an industrial cooperation program with specific projects was emphasized.

Special attention was paid to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange.
