    Uzbekistan and France establish strategic partnership

    Following negotiations in Paris, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, adopted a Joint Declaration on the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership.

    In the presence of the heads of state, an intergovernmental Agreement on the Mobility of Specialists and Students was exchanged.

    During the state visit, the following agreements were also signed:

    – Intergovernmental Agreement on the Establishment of the Uzbekistan – France University;

    – Intergovernmental Agreement on Readmission;

    – Cooperation Program in Investment and Innovation, providing for the implementation of promising joint projects with leading French companies in Uzbekistan, totaling €6.5 billion;

    – Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2025-2026;

    – Cooperation Program with the French Development Agency for 2026-2030;

    – Intergovernmental Agreement on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passports;

    – Declaration on Cooperation within International Organizations;

    – Declaration on Cooperation in Healthcare;

    – Protocol on Expanding the Teaching of the French Language;

    – Declaration on Cooperation in Music, Cinema, and Theater;

    – Cooperation Agreements between the Art and Culture Development Foundation and the French National Institute of Cultural Heritage, and the French Institute for Central Asian Studies;

    – Protocol on the Establishment of Partnership between Tashkent and Paris, along with other bilateral documents.
