The President of Turkmenistan conveyed sincere greetings to the President of Uzbekistan from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The meeting focused on the further development and strengthening of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The steady growth of trade turnover was noted with deep satisfaction, having exceeded $1.1 billion by the end of last year.
Cooperation projects are being successfully implemented across various industries, including energy, transport, agriculture, and water management. A cross-border trade zone “Shavat – Dashoguz” is being jointly established. Activities are also being carried out within the framework of active interregional ties and cultural-humanitarian exchange.
Special attention was given to the preparation of upcoming bilateral meetings and high-level multilateral events, as well as to advancing joint projects within the framework of a multifaceted partnership.
