The wife of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, together with the wife of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Aniko Levai, and the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aygul Japarova, visited the House of Music located in Varoshliget Park.
The House of Music is a cultural and educational center, built in 2022 according to the design of the famous Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. During the visit, a special concert of the Hungarian folk ensemble was organized for the first ladies. His program featured both traditional Hungarian melodies and folk tunes from Central Asia, which was another confirmation of the cultural closeness and musical kinship between the peoples. The guests were told about the construction of the House of Music and the directions of its activities.
The First Ladies also toured the permanent exhibition entitled "Sounding Dimensions - Musical Journeys through Time and Space." This interactive exhibition covers seven key stages in the development of European and Hungarian music and includes more than 300 pieces of music.
During the cultural visit, the guests got acquainted with the audio-visual installation "sounding dome", a 360-degree immersion into the world of sounds. The delegation was also very interested in the center's concert halls, music education laboratories, as well as showrooms equipped with advanced acoustic technologies.
Then Ziroat Mirziyoyeva visited Vaidakhunyad Castle, located in the same park. The architectural appearance of the castle is a harmonious combination of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance.
The castle building houses the Hungarian Agriculture Museum, which features unique exhibits on traditional Hungarian agriculture, viticulture and food production.
During the visit, it was emphasized once again that cultural heritage, music and history are the most important factors in strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Turkic peoples.
