On September 9 of this year, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Education Above All Foundation signed a memorandum providing for the training of Afghan women in the field of medicine.

Within the framework of this agreement, it is planned to train 160 Afghan women in medical specialties in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The training programs will be conducted by experienced medical specialists of Uzbekistan and will serve to improve the professional skills of women, as well as have a great impact on strengthening their contribution to the medical field of their country.

Most of the costs of the project are borne by the Qatari side. In particular, the Education Above All Foundation will provide financial assistance in the amount of $2.2 million for education, housing and other necessary expenses for Afghan women.
