The memorandum provides for strengthening bilateral cooperation and bilateral ties on the basis of reciprocity, as well as equality, mutual trust, mutual understanding, the effectiveness of spiritual and commercial expediency in the development of Halal tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan, providing favorable conditions for Halal Tourism, taking into account the value and importance of ethical norms and rules in the economic and cultural development of the state, reports the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
According to the memorandum, the parties can participate in the development of joint research and development of methods for conducting such research at the international, national, regional levels on issues of "Halal Tourism", including "Halal" certification of tourist services, can organize joint training programs, can carry out work on certification of hotel services for compliance with the requirements of the standard OIC/SMIIC 9:2019 "Halal Travel Services. General requirements".
