The Tourism Committee, the Tashkent city Khokimiyat, the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, together with the Association of International Sports Clubs, held international sports competitions "Cup of the East & Olympic Stars" in the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan.
The competitions were held according to the calendar plan of "Cultural and entertainment and sports events" for 2023, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In addition to Uzbek representatives, about 400 gymnasts from the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan competed for the title of winner.
In the competition, the gymnasts tested their strength in individual and group competitions. The skills of most gymnasts in performing exercises with hoops, balls, clubs and ribbons were evaluated by international class judges.
In the international sports competitions "Cup of the East and Olympic Stars", the first place was taken by athletes from Kyrgyzstan, the second place went to Kazakhstan, the third to Uzbekistan.
These competitions proved once again that children's sports are one of the important foundations for the development of sports tourism, the formation of not only physical, but also spiritual beauty, the upbringing of the personality of young girls.
