The President of the Senate met with the newly elected Director General of the International Labor Organization

    During her visit to Geneva, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva met with the newly elected Director General of the International Labor Organization Gilbert Ungbo.

    During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the transformations and reforms carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, including in the social and labor sphere, in the field of creating decent working conditions.

    It was stressed that the ILO's cooperation with Uzbekistan is very important for the organization, the Cotton Campaign boycott against Uzbek cotton has been canceled, relations with the International Trade Union Confederation have significantly improved.
