Recently, there have been complaints regarding the difficulties that Uzbek citizens face when entering the territory of the United Arab Emirates, in particular, lengthy checks at international airports, as a result of which our compatriots are forced to spend a long time there.
The diplomatic missions of our country in the UAE are taking active measures to resolve the current situation. Our diplomats are constantly monitoring the situation and are in continuous negotiations with representatives of the UAE Immigration service and other competent authorities.
The purpose of these negotiations is to ensure that our citizens cross the border as quickly and unhindered as possible. Every effort is being made to promptly resolve issues on the ground.
At the same time, the reasons for delays and checks at airports are being established, which will allow for a deeper understanding of the problem and prevent similar cases in the future.
The staff of the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai are at local airports on a regular basis, providing comprehensive support to our compatriots.
