The new season of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup starts. From March 31 to April 2, the 1st stage of the competition will be held in the capital of Bulgaria.
Representatives of the Uzbek national team will also take part in the upcoming competitions.
Currently, the domestic graces are conducting final training sessions in Sofia.
The national team of our country will take part in the tournament with the following composition:
Single program: Takhmina Ikramova, Yasmina Rakhimova.
Group exercises: Iroda Sadikova, Rukhshona Dekhkonova, Mumtoza Iskhokzoda, Ekaterina Fetisova, Nargiza Jhumaniyazova, Shahzoda Ibragimova.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix tournament has ended in the French city of Thiers. In group exercises with 3 ribbons and 2 balls, our representatives managed to climb to the podium. Having scored 30.550 points, the representatives of Uzbekistan were awarded a bronze medal.
In Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the development of sports tourism, in particular, the creation of conditions for girls to regularly engage in sports. As a result, along with all kinds of sports in our country, rhythmic gymnastics is becoming more and more popular among girls, talented gymnasts are growing up, who achieve high results at major international competitions and tournaments.
The next stage of the Gymnastics World Cup has started in the Egyptian capital. At the end of the first day, Oksana Chusovitina won a ticket to the final in her crown program - the support jump, and Dildora Aripova - in the uneven bars exercise.
