This was stated by Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa at a joint press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdoulati at the Rafah checkpoint connecting Egypt and Gaza.

"We will soon announce an interim committee to govern the Gaza Strip," Mustafa said, stressing that the Rafah checkpoint should become a vital route for Gazans.

He noted that Israel's policy of depriving the population of food and forced eviction is unacceptable and must be stopped.

The Prime minister stressed the need for more active actions by the international community to force Israel to end its policy of blockade and cutting off food supplies.

Mustafa also noted that there is no time for delay. Instead of creating an "organized political structure" in Gaza, the authorities will focus on restoring existing official institutions to stop attacks and rebuild the exclave.

In addition, the Palestinian Prime Minister said that cooperation with Egypt continues on the organization of a conference in Cairo on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after the destruction caused by the Israeli attacks. aa.com.tr.
