The Head of State emphasized that the idea of “For Human Honor and Dignity” has become the main guiding principle in Uzbekistan’s policy. On this basis, issues such as improving living conditions, increasing citizens’ incomes and well-being, and developing mahallas are centralizing the social agenda.
As part of the ongoing programs aimed at fully unlocking the potential of the regions and reducing poverty, real opportunities are being created across the country for decent work on native soil. Young people and women are receiving training in modern, in-demand, and well-paid professions.
Structural economic changes yield tangible results: industry is developing rapidly, and enterprises based on advanced technologies produce high-value-added products. At the same time, large-scale projects are being launched in agriculture, tourism, transport, and energy, contributing to the country’s comprehensive growth.
The President emphasized the crucial role of road infrastructure in economic development and public sentiment, underlining the need for a systematic approach to this sector. In this regard, specific instructions were given to the responsible officials. Over the past two years, 40,000 kilometers of roads and 540 bridges have been repaired nationwide. In Kashkadarya region, 100 kilometers of main roads are scheduled for reconstruction this year. The Head of State instructed to expedite the implementation of these projects and ensure the improvement of areas adjacent to the highways.
Representatives of the older generation noted that people genuinely feel the changes in their daily lives and highly value the course of reforms. One of the participants shared that today, women are gaining real opportunities for self-fulfillment in various fields, both professionally and socially. As a result, they feel supported, more confident, earn respect within their families and communities, and overall feel more satisfied with their lives.
