The highest award of Pakistan was solemnly conferred upon the President of Uzbekistan by the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.

Confidence was expressed that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan will continue to be enriched with new substance.
It should be noted that over the years, this high award has been bestowed upon such distinguished figures as Queen Elizabeth II, U.S. President Richard Nixon, South African President Nelson Mandela, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, PRC President Hu Jintao, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, and others.
