A public fund to support civil society institutions will be established under the Oliy Majlis

    The Presidential Decree "On measures to further improve the system of state support for civil society institutions" was adopted.

    According to the Decree, a public fund for the support of civil society institutions, as well as its regional divisions, will be established under the Oliy Majlis.

    The tax-free amount of charitable donations in the form of funds directly transferred to family members included in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" will be increased from 15 million soums to 100 billion rubles (up to 34 million soums).

    From January 1, 2025, the state fee established for the state registration of public associations of persons with disabilities, veterans, women and children will be collected in an amount reduced by half.

    Every year, ministries and departments will organize competitions to provide social services to civil society institutions.

    Every year, a "Civil Society Week" will be held in the first week of December.

    The national award "Fuqarolik tashabbusi" ("Civic Initiative") will be established, which will be awarded by the Foundation every two years.

    A nomination will be established in the direction of highlighting the activities of civil society institutions at the international competition for the national award "Oltin Qalam".

    Starting from September 1, 2024, a single electronic platform will be launched aimed at ensuring transparency of all processes related to the distribution of state subsidies, grants and social orders to civil society institutions, the Ministry of Justice reports.
