During the meeting, issues of cooperation on the implementation of projects in the Aral Sea region were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of the Aral Sea region and ecology Alikhanov B., Head of the Agency of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea for the implementation of projects of the Aral Sea basin Sokolov V. and staff of the Senate.

During the dialogue, the participants were very interested in two priority issues - the use of agrobiotechnologies for growing agricultural products on saline soils of the Aral Sea region, as well as the production of "green" hydrogen for the introduction of technologies for its use as fuel for drones in remote areas without infrastructure.

Following the discussions, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue between the Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research and the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
