The MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) Information Service reports that light snow is currently falling in the upper part of the Kamchik Pass. In this regard, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Road Patrol Service (RPS), and "Kamchikavtoyul" Unitary Enterprise for Road Exploitation (UERE) are jointly carrying out work to clear the road of snow, prevent the formation of ice, and sprinkle sand-salt mixture.
In addition, MES rescuers are carrying out monitoring activities and providing practical assistance to drivers and their vehicles stranded on the road.
To prevent emergencies related to road traffic accidents, the Ministry of Emergency Situations urges drivers to strictly follow to all safety rules when traveling in the pass area.
