Starting from October 28, 2025, the number of scheduled flights operated by Uzbekistan Airways on the Tashkent - Islamabad-Tashkent route will be increased to two per week.

Currently, Uzbekistan Airways operates flights on the Tashkent - Lahore - Tashkent route twice a week (on Wednesdays and Fridays), and on the Tashkent -Islamabad - Tashkent route once a week (on Saturdays).

Planes on both routes fly with a full load, and flights are fully sold out a few days before departure. Therefore, the number of flights is increasing in order to meet passenger demand and further develop transport links between the two countries, the Dunyo news agency reports.

The new flights will serve to further develop trade and economic relations, business cooperation and mutual visits between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

The increase in the number of flights will not only create convenience for passengers, but will also contribute to strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two fraternal peoples. In addition, the possibilities of convenient travel to other countries of the world through Tashkent International Airport will expand.

The constant increase in the number of flights is a strategically important step for both Uzbekistan and Pakistan, and will be an important factor in bringing friendly relations between the two countries to a new level.
