"It was with great pleasure that we visited the Uzbek National Puppet Theater and watched the play "Caliph the Stork" based on the fairy tale by Wilhelm Gauff, a story beloved by many about inner challenge and self-discovery," Saida Mirziyoyeva shared her impressions.

After the completion of the first stage of reconstruction, the theater reopened its doors to the audience. Performances are already taking place here, children's voices are heard and families are gathering. At the same time, during the renovation, special attention was paid to preserving the historical appearance of the building and its unique atmosphere.

The "Fairytale City", cast-iron auditorium doors, figures of musicians with carnai, unique glass ceiling lights, facade compositions and mosaic elements that are part of the cultural heritage of this place have been restored in the theater.

According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the preservation and development of the traditions of puppetry is of particular importance.

"It is especially important to me that we preserve the tradition of puppetry. The doll remains the best mediator in dialogue with children, helping them to speak in an accessible language about important things: freedom, responsibility, strength and friendship," she stressed.
