Issues of expanding cooperation, in particular in the Central Asian region, were discussed at the meeting.
Saida Mirziyoyeva stressed that Uzbekistan has already achieved notable results in the field of education and women's rights, and expressed confidence that the country's successful experience can be useful beyond its borders.
It was noted that since last year, the Teach For Uzbekistan initiative has become part of the global Teach For All family, and today it has initiative and talented young leaders in its ranks.
"I am confident that Teach For Uzbekistan will become an important link in a large-scale education reform, contributing to positive changes in the lives of thousands of children, especially in remote regions of the country," Mirziyoyeva said.
