During the conversation, it was noted that thanks to the policy of openness and reforms carried out by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EBRD has reached a new qualitative stage. With the support of the bank, large-scale infrastructure projects in the fields of irrigation and the "green" economy are being implemented in the country.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized the importance of joint programs focused on the development of human capital:

"We highly appreciate the support of the Women in Business and Youth in Business initiatives that improve the lives of women and youth in our country. It is also important that active work is being carried out on projects in Karakalpakstan aimed at the sustainable development of the region."

The parties confirmed that the atmosphere of trust and cooperation is strengthening in the region thanks to the good-neighborly cooperation between the Central Asian countries.

"I am confident that the partnership with the EBRD will continue to contribute to the prosperity of Uzbekistan and the entire region," concluded the head of the Presidential Administration.
