The protocol between the governments of Uzbekistan and the UAE on mutual exemption from visa requirements comes into force today

    The Protocol on mutual exemption from entry visa requirements by Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was signed on January 16 this year in Abu Dhabi.

    According to the document signed by Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Khalid Abdullah Belhul, Uzbek citizens are exempt from visa requirements for the period of stay in the United Arab Emirates - no more than 30 days, reports news agency "Dunyo".

    It is worth noting that citizens of Uzbekistan can visit up to 29 countries without a visa, thus, our country ranks 69th in the world passport strength rating "Passport Index".

    According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, 131,589 of our citizens visited the UAE in 2023.
