The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
It was noted with deep satisfaction that at the present stage, Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness and strategic partnership are consistently strengthened in accordance with the agreements at the highest level.
Special attention is paid to the organizational and substantive aspects of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country, which began today. It was emphasized that this event will contribute to the deepening of practical cooperation, sustainable development of our states and the entire region.
The negotiations also discussed issues of the final international legal registration of the Uzbek-Kazakh State border.
The productive work of the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission and the importance of completing the demarcation of the border to strengthen good-neighborly relations and deepen trade and economic ties between the countries were noted.
