An international conference was held in the German city of Müncheberg (Federal State of Brandenburg) with the participation of professors and researchers from the Leibniz Center for Agricultural Research and the Humboldt University in Berlin.

It was attended by representatives of the Embassy of our country in Germany and the representative office of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan in Germany, as well as a deputy of the Islamic Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" headed by Vice-Rector Tokhirjon Sultanov and experts. It is reported by IA "Dunyo".

It should be noted that within the framework of the project under study, on the example of Uzbekistan, several trips of international experts were organized to Uzbekistan, where scientific research was carried out together with Uzbek experts. In particular, in order to efficiently use water resources, work was carried out to assess and predict the impact of global climate change on the reclamation of irrigated lands, as well as to create and develop methods for electronic maps of hydromodular zoning of irrigated lands based on advanced technologies.

Members of the Uzbek delegation headed by Professor Tokhirjon Sultanov, in cooperation with German scientists, determined the further plans for a new two-year project "Sustainable water-saving irrigation technologies to achieve water, energy and food security in the context of climate change in Uzbekistan." Recall that this project was agreed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Germany and the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan for co-financing.
