The Regulation defines the status, tasks and functions, powers, rights and obligations, as well as the procedures for organizing the activities of the Agency.
The Agency is a specially authorized state body responsible for external quality control in the fields of secondary specialized, vocational, higher and postgraduate education, retraining and professional development of personnel, and qualification assessment.
The main tasks of the Agency include:
providing methodological recommendations for improving and effectively implementing internal quality control criteria and procedures in educational institutions;
conducting scientific and practical research, as well as surveys, to study the effectiveness of measures aimed at ensuring the quality of education in educational institutions.
The structure of the Agency includes its central office and the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System.
