Currently, there is a lot of preparation for the upcoming tournament. The national team led by Jurabek Zoirov and Nurullo Togaev will perform in full at these competitions (36), along with about 300 young stars from 21 countries.
These days, Uzbek athletes are undergoing the final stage of training at the weightlifting base in Chirchik. As part of our country there are quite famous weightlifters such as the world champion among adults Tursunoy Zhabborova, winners of the youth championship of the planet Nigora Suvonova, Sharofiddin Amriddinov, Mirkhosil Mirzaboyev.
The teams of Japan and China, which are considered leaders in this sport due to the epidemiological situation in their countries, will not participate in the competition. But this will not affect the competition so much in the upcoming starts. As representatives of the Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, India, who have recently significantly improved their performance in this sport, as well as the national teams of the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand with strong leaders in some weight categories, will perform.
Asia is considered the strongest region in world weightlifting. Therefore, the continental championships in any age category are of great interest to the international organization.
The IWF leadership headed by Mohammad Jalud, the recently appointed head of the International Weightlifting Federation, will be the guests of honor of the competition.
