The event is organized by the Scientific Research Institute of Tourism Development with the support of the Committee on Tourism and is held on the basis of the Tashkent branch of MGIMO. The forum is attended by leading experts, scientists and representatives of the tourism industry from more than 10 countries, including India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malta, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkey.
The main attention of the participants was paid to innovative technologies, telemedicine, personalized medicine, environmental standards of the sanatorium and resort sector and the training of international personnel.
The main purpose of the conference is to share experiences, develop practical solutions and create sustainable models for the development of medical and ecotourism.
The event also includes the exhibition "Medical Tourism: Innovations and Trends", where tour operators and guests can get acquainted with sanatoriums, traditional medicine, oriental cosmetics and wellness programs. The program includes plenary sessions, master classes, B2B meetings and round tables.
On the first day of the conference, memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Scientific Research Institute of Tourism Development and the Association of Medical and Academic Tourism of the Russian Federation, as well as with the Tashkent branch of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other partners.
The final day of the forum will be devoted to an off-site program, during which participants will visit the leading sanatorium-resort complexes of the Tashkent region and get acquainted with their natural potential and modern methods of rehabilitation.
The conference will last until November 12, following which a collection of scientific articles will be prepared.
