Tashkent region: 10 family guest houses were opened in “Ovdzhasay”

    In the village “Ovdzhasay” of the Akhangaron district of the Tashkent region, 10 new family guest houses were opened. According to the results of the studies carried out by the working group of the Ministry of tourism and sports in the Tashkent region, a mobile reception was created in the “Ovdzhasay” village with the participation of employees of the Tourism development department of the Tashkent region, the district administration, the district center of public services, and the district tax office.

    At the reception, 10 homeowners wishing to establish family guesthouses were registered as entrepreneurs. They were given an extract from the unified register of family guest houses and hostels, as well as special certificates. Officials gave the initiators appropriate recommendations for the development of tourism, increasing and improving the types of tourist services, and also presented gifts from the Ministry of tourism and sports.

    It should be noted that in order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 7, 2018 No. 631 “On the organization of the activities of family guest houses”, explanatory work continues on the creation of family guest houses in the districts of the Tashkent region. Also, large-scale work is underway to give the villages of “Ertoshsay” and “Ovdzhasay” of the Akhangaron region the status of a “tourist mahalla”.
