In his welcoming speech, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, noted that the state administration and representatives of the business community of the region are ready to further strengthen mutually beneficial ties. He stressed the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the fields of energy, tourism, agriculture and others.

At the event, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of promising projects in the trade and economic sphere, investment cooperation in various industries. An agreement was reached on the preparation of proposals for the establishment of twinning relations between the cities of Uzbekistan and the state of Himachal Pradesh.
