He added that it is planned to issue a coin with a face value of 1000 soums.
The head of the Central Bank recalled that the issue of new banknotes will not lead to an increase in inflation, since the regulator does not change the volume of money supply.
Also, in the near future, new banknotes in denominations of 2 thousand, 5 thousand, 10 thousand, 20 thousand, 50 thousand and 100 thousand soums will be issued through ATMs.
The central bank plans to issue a 200-thousandth bill
The Central Bank plans to issue new 200 thousand soums banknotes in 2024. This was announced by the head of the department Mamarizo Nurmuratov during a press conference dedicated to the results of the next meeting of the Central Bank Board.
