At the meeting, the leadership of the Central Bank announced the results of the reforms carried out in the banking sector in recent years, as well as initiatives to further develop the financial sector, increase the availability of banking services to the public and small and medium-sized businesses.

During the meeting, possible areas for expanding cooperation with UK financial institutions in such areas as consumer protection of banking services, improving financial literacy, developing the microfinance sector, as well as measures to support small and medium-sized businesses were discussed.

The parties also expressed their willingness to establish cooperation in staff training, as well as in strengthening research potential.
