There are restrictions on electricity payments for more than 151 thousand subscribers who owe money for waste disposal services.

This was announced by the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development.

Despite the fact that during the five-day period, consumers made payments in the amount of 7.4 billion soums, legal restrictions began to apply to subscribers who did not repay the debt.

In particular, temporary restrictions have been set in the republic on electricity payments for 151,202 subscribers who have debts of 14.8 billion soums. It should be noted that this restriction is lifted only after the complete elimination of debt on waste disposal.

This procedure does not apply to old debts until June 30, 2025. The restrictions began to apply on November 5 of this year to debts incurred on July 1, 2025.
