During the talks, issues of developing bilateral economic relations, expanding trade ties and implementing mutually beneficial projects were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to proposals to strengthen direct cooperation between representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, including the supply of petroleum products, chemicals, metals and copper.
Iranian industrial and manufacturing companies were also invited to actively participate in investment projects implemented in Uzbekistan.
The parties separately discussed the preparation and organization of the upcoming economic events to be held in Tehran from May 10-12, emphasizing the importance of holding them at a high level.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to achieve practical results and agreed to work out concrete steps to bring economic cooperation to a new stage in the near future.
