The purpose of the visit is to conclude long-term agreements between the countries with leading higher education and research institutions in the field of agriculture.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the commercial director of Ingeser, Nikolai Chubinov. The company is working on a project to create an agricultural center for storage, sorting, processing, drying, shock freezing and export of fruits and vegetables in Uzbekistan. Issues of engineering, consulting, capacity building of the future center and Agro Incubator for the International Agricultural University in Uzbekistan were discussed.

Also at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain, the delegation met with the CEO of the company "SpainMed", Mr. Jose Alvarez, where they discussed the project on genetically modified sheep breeding and considered issues of cooperation in this direction between specialists of the two countries.

In addition, the delegation members met with a leading engineer of Fenacore company specializing in the implementation of drip irrigation method in the country. The issues of inviting the company's specialists to conduct master classes in Uzbekistan were worked out.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, meetings with the Director General of the Council for Education, Youth and Sports Carlos Alberto and representatives of the University, as well as a number of other meetings are planned in the autonomous district of Castilla-la Mancha, in the city of Toledo.
