Uzbekistan and Jordan's Dar Al-Dawa discuss launch of joint pharmaceutical projects

    On September 29, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Khaled Harb, Chief Executive Officer of the Jordanian pharmaceutical company Dar Al-Dawa.

    Founded in 1975, Dar Al-Dawa Development & Investment Co. Ltd. It is one of the largest manufacturers of medicines in the Middle East and North Africa region. The company is headquartered in Amman, and its products are exported to more than 40 countries around the world.

    During the talks, the parties discussed the expansion of cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector; the implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan; the attraction of advanced technologies; localization of production and the introduction of international quality standards.

    Special attention is paid to the possibilities of organizing the production of medicines in Uzbekistan and strengthening the export potential of the industry.
