During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation in trade, investment, banking, agriculture, ecology, transport, tourism and information technology were discussed. Following the meeting, the Minutes of the second meeting of the commission were signed, providing for concrete steps to deepen partnership and implement joint projects.
Special attention was paid to the creation of joint ventures, the development of infrastructure and the expansion of the participation of Qatari capital in projects of "green" energy and digital transformation of the economy.
In Uzbekistan, Qatari companies are implementing projects worth $2.4 billion, and a portfolio of 28 investment initiatives has been formed with a total value of $7.6 billion in the fields of energy, logistics, geology, IT and healthcare.
