On April 15, 2024, on the sidelines of the second meeting of foreign ministers of the Strategic Dialogue "Central Asia - Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf" in Tashkent, an agreement was signed on the establishment of bilateral strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
