During the talks, it was noted that at the initiative of the leaders of the two countries, cooperation in the cultural sphere is developing dynamically, and cultural exchange is becoming more widespread. Regular ministerial meetings confirm the friendly and mutually beneficial nature of the relations.
It was emphasized that on July 7, 2025, a meeting of the SCO Ministers of culture was held in Qingdao, where significant results were achieved.
Following the current negotiations, the governments of Uzbekistan and China signed an agreement on the establishment of cultural centers. This historic document has been signed for the first time and is expected to open a new stage in the development of cultural ties between the two countries.
Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism Sun Yeli noted that relations between the two countries are actively developing not only in the economy, social sphere and education, but also in the field of culture. He highly appreciated the holding of the "Days of Culture of Uzbekistan" in Beijing in 2024 and suggested organizing "Days of Culture of China" in Tashkent this year.
Ozodbek Nazarbekov fully supported the initiative and assured that Uzbekistan would provide comprehensive practical assistance in its implementation.
The parties also discussed promising areas of cooperation in the cultural sphere, joint projects, initiatives in the field of cultural education and investments.
