Representatives of the UAE University, advisor to the Rector Karim Ol Mazrui, head of the registration department Khalifa Juma Ol Meresi and head of Protocol Service Rashid Ol Menkhali held talks with the leadership of the Center for Islamic Civilization, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

At the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the reforms carried out in the religious and educational sphere in our country, in particular, the restoration of the heritage of Islam, the broad promotion of the idea of enlightened Islam at the international level, and the fight against ignorance with enlightenment. Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the parties.

During the visit, negotiations were also held with the leadership of the International Islamic Academy.

During the dialogue, it was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE has been developing in all directions in recent years. The guests highly appreciated the reforms implemented in the religious and educational sphere under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan. Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties.

In accordance with the signed documents, the parties will cooperate in the exchange of manuscripts and electronic books, holding cultural events, developing training programs and organizing master classes, exchanging scientific publications and scientific documentation, writing dissertations under joint supervision, preparing doctoral students, conducting scientific research.
