It was noted that this initiative plays a key role in modernizing the country's Internet infrastructure, supporting innovative projects and expanding public access to digital services.
During the negotiations, both sides stressed that they have established practical cooperation on the implementation of Amazon Kuiper services in Uzbekistan.
Amazon Kuiper is an American private aerospace company engaged in the development of orbital Internet networks and satellite infrastructure. The main goal of the project is to provide the world's population with high—speed Internet and create global coverage.
For reference: earlier, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC, consolidating bilateral cooperation.
