The central place on the agenda was given to discussing issues of cooperation in the field of labor migration, as well as in solving the problems faced by Uzbek citizens in Russia.
Following the meetings, agreements were reached on cooperation in these areas. In particular, the Russian side supported the proposal to improve the system of organized recruitment and vocational training of Uzbek citizens intending to work in Russia.
It was emphasized that the work on the issue of transferring the procedure for obtaining permits to the territory of Uzbekistan should be accelerated. They also expressed their willingness to further facilitate the process of legalizing the legal status of Uzbek citizens in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation until April 30 this year, as well as to create favorable conditions for their temporary employment in Russia through organized recruitment. In this context, Rostrud is considering the creation of a "Single operator" for the organized recruitment of foreign workers, as well as the development of preferential conditions, including payment of a patent at the expense of the employer. In addition, she assured that she would make every effort to prevent the spread of false and biased information about migrant workers in the Russian Federation in the media space.
On February 4, a forum was held at the Embassy with the participation of a number of large Russian employers, which resulted in the signing of four agreements on the organized involvement of more than 3,000 Uzbek citizens, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
