On October 9, 2025, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with the Minister for International Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Serbia Nenad Popovic.
During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of trade, economic and investment partnership between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to the expansion of cooperation in the fields of industrial cooperation, pharmaceuticals, energy, agriculture, transport and technology, which is designed to give a new impetus to Uzbek-Serbian relations.
Tashkent hosted an international investment Forum dedicated to the prospects for the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and strengthening transport connectivity in the region. The event brought together representatives of government agencies, international financial institutions, expert circles and the private sector.
The Third EU-Central Asia Economic Forum was held in Tashkent, which once again confirmed its importance as a key platform for developing joint solutions and strengthening regional dialogue.
