Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed issues of expanding trade and economic ties

    A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance between Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar.

    The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vakhabov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. The First Secretary of the Turkish Embassy in Uzbekistan, Alijan Aksoy, participated from the foreign side.

    During the meeting, the participants of the dialogue paid special attention to the possibilities of expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investments and developing mutually beneficial projects. In particular, the prospects for the development of the business sphere between Uzbekistan and Turkey and the further increase in foreign trade between the two countries were discussed.

    Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov and Turkish Ambassador Olgan Bekar expressed their readiness to take all necessary measures to improve business conditions and create a favorable investment environment.

    Following the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for strengthening and developing a long-term partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey. Olgan Bekar noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey has significant potential.

    The discussion of prospects for strengthening and developing Uzbek-Turkish relations within the framework of this dialogue confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
