Uzbekistan and South Korea signed a memorandum on the development of the GameDev and esports ecosystem

    The delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan, headed by Business Development Director Jahongir Rajabov, held a meeting with the CEO of the Korean company Proxy Planet Park Yong Mok.

    Within its framework, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at the development of the GameDev industry in Uzbekistan.

    Proxy Planet is a company founded in 2023 and based in Seoul. Proxy Planet specializes in supporting businesses focused on the GameDev sector. The company offers services aimed at helping companies expand into new markets, relocate or establish businesses in other countries. Proxy Planet advises on game development, event management and the search for strategic partnerships. The company also provides educational programs for game development, as well as investment attraction services.

    Uzbekistan has already established itself in the Korean market as a reliable partner in the field of outsourcing. With a median age of 29 years and more than 31 million mobile device users, Uzbekistan is actively aiming to strengthen its global competitiveness, especially in the field of high technology and digital services.

    According to the memorandum, Proxy Planet and IT Park intend to create a solid international platform for attracting Korean companies, as well as joint activities to support organizations in the field of GameDev and e-commerce. The cooperation will focus on expanding IT outsourcing, training young professionals in accordance with the requirements of the Korean market and supporting the acceleration of game developers in Uzbekistan.
