On April 30, a special charter flight will be organized from New York to Tashkent to repatriate Uzbek citizens who are illegally in the United States and are included in the list of foreigner’s subject to deportation.

We are talking about citizens who have violated the visa regime or the period of legal stay in the United States, while the repatriation process takes into account humanitarian and legal aspects, ensuring a dignified and safe return.

As Akhror Burkhanov, the press secretary of the Uzbek Foreign Minister, wrote in his telegram channel, this repatriation initiative is aimed at ensuring the rights of our country's citizens in difficult situations abroad, and is carried out in strict accordance with international norms, obligations and human rights.

The charter flight is organized in close coordination with the consular and migration services of both countries. All measures are being taken with maximum respect for the rights of repatriated citizens, strictly observing the current legislation of both Uzbekistan and the United States.

This step is part of Uzbekistan's broader policy aimed at regulating migration flows, ensuring the legal protection of its citizens abroad, their social and legal adaptation, as well as creating conditions for the safe and humane return of citizens to their homeland.

Uzbekistan continues to develop its migration policy, providing its citizens with support and protection in any situation.
