On March 5, the Center for Contemporary Art hosted an open discussion on Uzbekistan's participation in this international platform. The event was attended by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Commissioner of the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan - Gayane Umerova and curators of the pavilion Joseph Grima and Sheida Gomashi.
The speakers told about the idea of creating the project, the concept of the exhibition and the tasks of the authors.
According to the press service of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art, this time when creating the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan, the curators decided to go to an even more global level and show the universal principle of the production of culture and knowledge: joint reflection, discussion and mutual learning.
The space of the pavilion will be filled with music, which, based on algorithmic systems, will be reproduced by artificial intelligence developed by artist Charlie Tapp. The computer "inspired" by the compositions of Uzbek musician Abror Zufarov will become the center of interdisciplinary collaboration.
