According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-February 2025, textile products were exported in the amount of 403.7 million US dollars.
This accounted for 8.7% of total exports.
The composition of exported textile products is as follows:
· finished textiles - USD 183.9 million;
· yarn - 141.2 million US dollars;
· knitted fabric - 45.6 million US dollars;
· fabrics - 22.6 million US dollars;
· socks - 6.9 million US dollars;
· carpets - 3.4 million US dollars.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has extended for one year the permit period for the export of saffron by BMB Opera Zafferano to the United States.
The second day of the President of Uzbekistan’s visit to Navoi region began with a joyful event. Representatives of the public participated in a ceremony dedicated to new projects.
In the period from January to May 2024, Uzbekistan exported 722.1 thousand tons of vegetables and fruits, which is 10.4% more compared to the same period last year.
