The Uzbek delegation held fruitful talks in Japan

    During the visit of the Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Kuchkarov to Japan, a number of productive meetings were held in ministries and departments, large companies and research institutions of this country.

    In particular, the head of the delegation met with Vice-President of Japan International Training Cooperation Organizatinon (JITCO) Shigeo Matsumoti, Minister of Health, Employment and Social Security Katsunobu Kato, Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yumi Yoshikawa, Vice-President of the Liberal Democratic Party Taro Aso, Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki.

    The meetings discussed the development and prospects of bilateral cooperation in relevant areas, as well as the possibility of implementing joint projects.

    At the same time, members of the Uzbek delegation held talks with the chairman of the Japanese Organization of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and the regional organization for Innovation Support (SME Support Japan) Aitsui Toyonaga, the leadership of the International Research Center of Yamagata University, representatives of one of the largest construction companies in Japan "Shimizu Corporation".

    The delegation also visited the center of Japan's largest cooperative association "JA Group" in the city of Obu and got acquainted with the activities of the "Farmer's Market".

    As a result of the meetings and negotiations, agreements were reached on establishing an exchange of experience and delegations, working out issues of establishing further cooperation, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.
