During the event, meetings were held in the B2B format, where entrepreneurs of the two countries discussed in detail the possibilities of establishing cooperation and signing firm contracts for the supply of textile products.
During the visit, meetings were held at the offices of "El Corte Ingles" and "Tendam" companies, during which the parties discussed the issues of placing orders for the manufacture of textile products of brands owned by companies at the facilities of Uzbek enterprises.
It should be noted that "El Corte Ingles" is a worldwide distribution group based in Spain, and consists of companies of different formats, the main of which are shopping malls, followed by online sales. It is one of the largest retail chains in Spain with 87 shopping complexes and online sales.
Tendam (formerly Cortefiel Group) is a Spanish fashion retailer, present in 79 countries with 1,462 direct-operated stores and 594 franchises.
Following the meetings, an agreement was reached on sending delegations of Spanish companies to Uzbekistan to study the country's potential in the textile industry, visit the production facilities of Uzbek enterprises.
