A departmental
document on this, developed at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, passed state registration on May 8, 2026 (registration
number 2886-12.
Now,
customers can receive foreign currency in cash in the amount of up to 500 US
dollars from the bank without presenting a passport, ID card or other documents
replacing them.
This new
procedure will take effect in 3 months.
