Uzbek-Indian inter-ministerial political consultations to be held in Delhi

    On May 11, 2022, the 15th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of India will be held in Delhi.

    The delegation of Uzbekistan will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Furkat Siddikov.

    The agenda of the event includes topical issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Indian friendship and strategic partnership relations, expansion of multifaceted cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

    Special attention will be paid to ensuring the implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level, as well as promoting practical cooperation in the field of trade, industrial cooperation, "green" development, innovation and digital technologies, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian exchange.

    It is planned to discuss the prospects for the development of interregional interconnectedness.
